Woman Injured in Hit and Run in West Brompton

An appeal is being made for witness to a hit and run incident which occurred in West Brompton last month.

At around 10:30am on Friday, 19 October a woman was struck by a truck on Redcliffe Gardens, close to the junction with Old Brompton Road (A3218), SW10.

It is believed the victim, aged 70, ran out after her grandchild and was hit by the vehicle, which failed to stop at the scene.

The woman was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where she was treated for injuries to her arm and pelvis. She remains in hospital though her injuries are not believed to be life changing or life threatening. The child did not receive any injuries.
