Boys and girls aged 11-19 can apply now to join Fulham Cross Academy and sixth form

Fulham Cross Academy, a pioneering new school for boys and girls, aged 11-19, set to open in September 2020 in Kingwood Road.

The new secondary school and sixth form will specialise in science, technology, engineering and maths, or STEM, while also still teaching its pupils more traditional subjects like English and history as part of a balanced curriculum.

Fulham Cross Academy, which will benefit from a new start of the art science building due to be completed in December, is taking the place of the current Fulham College Boys' School.

The academy's sixth form, which will have an array of
STEM-related A-Levels on offer to students, is taking the place of Fulham Enterprise Studio.

The sixth form is hosting an Open Event for prospective students on Wednesday 13 November from 4pm till 6pm, with a headteacher talk at 5pm. You can book a place at this event here.

/“This is an exciting time to join a school that is committed to STEM learning and to equipping our students with the knowledge and skills that they will need to thrive in an ever-increasingly scientific and technological society,” said Fulham Cross Academy Executive Principal Sally Brooks.

“We aim to develop our students by investing in the best teachers, the best curriculum and the best facilities – ensuring every single child is future-ready.”

Fulham Cross Academy will be part of umbrella organisation Fulham College Academy Trust which also includes nearby Fulham Cross Girls' School.

Parents of pupils moving up to secondary school - children currently in Year 6 and born between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2009 - have until 31 October to apply for a place.
