Locals grab their cameras to snap today's rare whiteout

Fulham was looking at its finest this morning, Wednesday 28 February, under a fresh blanket of snow.

Local MP Greg Hands was one of the first to post pictures of the unusual scenes, tweeting@greghands: " Chelsea & Fulham beautiful in the snow this morning. Pictured: @WhiteHorseSW6 @StPetersFulham @StDionisPG @ParsonsGreenery station."

Our parks and open spaces sparkled in the morning sunshine. This was the scene in Parsons Green:
