Brook Green Market Now Open on Wednesday and Saturday


Offering fresh organic fruit and veg while taking all necessary precautions

Brook Green Market and Kitchen, a popular weekly event at Addison Primary School, is not only remaining open every Saturday throughout the current crisis, but is also adding an extra day.

It will now be open every Wednesday from 10am, as well as every Saturday morning, saying that in this current climate, the farmers’ market will be open as usual going forward until it is told to close by the government.

The market is open on Saturdays from 9am for the elderly and vulnerable, and then open for everyone else from 10am till 3pm.

The market is open air, with plenty of space so one can keep a distance from other people. Visitors are asked to try to keep a distance of two meters from each other.

They are also asked please not to rush in at 10am as there will be plenty later throughout the day. Please also try to limit the amount of people who come from one household.

Please only touch what you will buy, don't touch food and put it back.

The market will be taking all necessary precautions to safeguard hygiene and welfare, and say that if you have any symptoms like coughing or a temperature please stay away. The children’s climbing areas are closed so please don't use them.

The food is direct from farms, and small producers so no factories.

Brook Green Market & Kitchen is a FARMA certified farmer's market with up to 25 independent traders selling the finest organic, free range, naturally grown produce, food and drink available. This week that includes return this weekend of Wild Country Organics' range of the the freshest fruit and veg, including ever increasing variety of herbs, tomatoes and salad leaves including Shiso, Summer Savoury (Sarriette) Mexican Tarragon and edible Chrysanthemum.
