Man killed by truck on North End Road


Police appeal for help in identifying Mongolian victim

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in North End Rd and help in identifying the victim.

A male pedestrian, approximately 24 years, was in collision a Mitsubishi tow-truck as he was crossing the road at the junction with Talgarth Rd at around 11.20pm on Monday 15th November..

The driver of the tow truck, a man in his 30s, stopped at the scene. Police have been unable to trace the family of the victim who they believe is as a Mongolian national. He is described as being of slim build, 6ft tall, with short black hair, wearing a beige parker jacket, a blue jumper and jeans.

Sgt Craig Robertson, of Hampton Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We need to contact the family of the man urgently and ask anyone who may have seen the collision or know who the victim is to contact us."
