Local woman gets to host Moby album launch event

A woman from Hammersmith won the chance to host an album launch party after she managed to get the longest guest list in a national competition.

The O2’s club, indigO2, played host to the launch party of Moby’s new album ‘Last Night’. Moby invited Mylo and Anders Trentemoller to join him in the DJ booth. O2 offered customers the chance to host this launch party for Moby's album.

The competition, ‘Fill the Floor with Moby’ was a unique, once in a life time opportunity, which offered the chance to the party was won by Hammersmith resident Prudence Petchey. Prudence is Australian but moved to Hammersmith in November 2006, and she gathered a lot of Aussies for the party. To win she had to set up a guest list to join the 1,500 people at the event.

She was able to invite 100 VIP guests for the evening, granting access to the indigO2 VIP lounge. Prudence and her closest friends got the opportunity to meet Moby in person, to be waited on by O2 Angels and enjoy all the comforts Indigo2 has to offer.

Moby said "I like nothing better than a free party where I get to DJ with my friends"
