Muggers Threaten to Kill Pizza Delivery Man

Driver ambushed outside Cox House on Field Road

A gang of muggers threatened to kill a Pizza Delivery driver unless he handed over cash and possessions in an incident which took place on 18th February at 8.40am outside Cox House on Field Road.

The driver was making a delivery after the Italian Pizzeria was called from a mobile number and a male ordered 3 pizzas and a tub of ice cream to be delivered to an address in Cox House at a cost of £32.92.

The delivery driver parked his bike outside and knocked on the front door of the address but the occupant stated that he did not order any pizzas and it must be a mistake. The victim proceeded downstairs and, as he got to the roadside by his bike, he was grabbed round the neck by a man who stated “give me your money or I’ll kill you” at that point two other men stood in front of the driver and began to punch him which caused him to drop the pizzas and ice cream which a fourth man then picked up and ran away with. The group then began to search his pockets and found the driver's silver LG mobile camera phone. The three men then made off the same way as the man who took the pizzas through the estate towards Margravine Road..

The suspects are all described as being around 5ft 10-11in and aged around 20 years old. The man who made the death threat was wearing a grey hooded top and dark blue jeans. One of the men who carried out the assault was described as having a skinny build, a dark tone and was wearing a waist length black jacket and dark blue jeans. The other man also had a skinny build, short black hair and mid skin tone. He was wearing a grey hooded top and dark blue jeans. The man who took the pizzas had a skinny build, short black hair with a dark skin tone and was unshaved. He was wearing a white hooded top and blue jeans.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the suspects is asked to contact the officer in charge of the case, DC Hawke at Hammersmith CID or call the Crime management unit at Fulham Police Station on 0208 246 2814.
