Witnesses wanted to robberies and an assault

Hammersmith and Fulham police are appealing for witnesses to a number of robberies in the local area.

In the first incident a 27 year old female had her bag stolen on the 21st June between 22.45 and 23.45. The victim was walking along Adie Road when she felt as if there was someone following her, she turned around and saw the suspect who said "What time is it?”. She felt very afraid but continued to walk away when the suspect grabbed hold of her handbag. She kept a firm grip of the handles of her bag, as they both struggled with the bag; the contents of the bag fell out, including her mobile phone, purse and some cosmetics. She was then punched in the face by the suspect who pulled her bag leaving the handles of the bag in the victim’s hands and then made off.

The robber is described as a white aged around 19, 5ft. 9in., thin and wearing a black/navy cap, black hooded zip top, blue jeans and trainers.

In another incident on the same day at around 00.15 - 00.45 a 61 year old man had hise mobile phone and cash stolen on Richford St. The victim was approached by a black male suspect who punched him on his jaw on the right side of his face and took £40 in £20 notes from the victim's pocket on his shirt, an unopened packet of Marlbrough cigarettes and his mobile phone. The victim was also aware of two white males standing behind the suspect.

On the 18th June two youths aged 18 and 20 were walking along Greyhound Road when three suspects who were riding bikes approached them. They pulled both the victims into the park. The first of the robbers, who was described as a white male aged 17, 5ft. 9in., stocky build, ginger hair wearing a black Nike jumper and a red and white beanie hat, punched one of the youths in the face. Then the other two held him and searched through his pockets then took his phone. The second youth tried to intervene but was fought off by the suspects who then left on their bikes going towards the Lambpeter Estate. The other robbers were described as an oriental looking 17 year old male, 5ft. 11in, wearing a grey hooded top and a black male, 16 years old, 6ft 2in, medium build wearing black and grey stripy jumper and blue jeans

The following day (19th June) sometime just after midnight a 58 year old man was walking along Brackenbury Road near the junction with Goldhawk Roadwhen he was attacked from behind. He was hit on the head several times. The victim blacked out from the attack and did not see the suspect. When he came around he made his way home where he blacked out again. He has a bruised right collarbone, bump on the back of his head, pain on the right side of his jaw, pains in his neck, bump to his forehead, bruising to his right elbow. His hearing aid was also damaged.

A 56 year old women was the victim of a robbery on 28th June at 23.10. She was walking through the underpass in Trussley Road when she heard a noise from behind, a youth cycled behind the victim, got off his bike and grabbed her handbag from her arm. The victim struggled with the suspect. The boy then cycled off after the victim had fallen to the floor causing a swelling a small graze to her left knee. The handbag contained cash, credit cards, keys and cosmetics. The suspect is described as a spotty white 15 year old male, 5ft. 4in., wearing black beanie hat with white trim, grey/blue t-shirt, black bomber jacket and white trainers.
