CCTV Image Released of Suspect in Café Crème Attack


Broadway stabbing took place mid-morning on August 9

Hammersmith and Fulham Police have released a CCTV image of a man they are seeking in connection with an attack which took place in mid-morning in Hammersmith Broadway in August last year.

The incident, which the police describe as one of Grievous Bodily Harm, happened outside Café Crème on Hammersmith Broadway at 11am on August 9, 2012.

The victim, who was reported to be of mixed race and in his mid-twenties, was standing outside the patisserie when and argument escalated into violence and he was stabbed.

Suffering what appeared to eye-witnesses to be a serious wound to the abdomen, he fled to nearby Hammersmith police station. He was taken to hospital, but the wound was not life threatening.
