Two women arrested after girl suffers suspected fractured cheekbone

A teenage girl suffered a fractured cheekbone after a parking row in Hammersmith became violent.

She was with her mother on Blacks Road in Hammersmith on Sunday December 7th at around 1.30pm. They were in the process of parking their car when then became involved in an altercation with two women in another vehicle.

During the ensuing argument, the 14-year-old girl was hit in the face. She was taken to a central London hospital with a suspected fractured cheekbone.

Detectives from Hammersmith and Fulham launched an investigation and were able to trace the two women.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop following a collision and assault. A 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assault.

They were both taken to a West London police station and were subsequently bailed until a date in late January 2015 pending further enquiries.
