Pubs, bars and restaurants throughout the country are about to un-furlough their staff and reopen from Saturday, July 4.

Unlike in pre-pandemic times, there will be a mixture of social distancing, some mandatory table bookings, and other venues choosing only to reopen their gardens.

But to save you the hassle of finding your nearest boozer, here is a list of places that are due to open their doors in Hammersmith either this Saturday or within the next week.

Hammersmith and Brook Green:

Hop Poles (Stonegate) in King Street – reopens July 4
The Duchess (independent) in Goldhawk Road – reopens July 4
Thatched House (independent) in Dalling Road – reopens July 4
The Pear Tree (independent) in Margravine Road – reopens July 4
The Queen’s Head (Fuller’s) in Brook Green – reopens July 4
The Blue Boat (Fuller’s) in Parr’s Way – reopens July 4
The Rutland (Greene King) by Hammersmith Bridge – is now taking bookings
The Blue Anchor (Hippo Inns) by Hammersmith Bridge – reopens July 9

A statement from Fuller's, which has its brewery in nearby Chiswick, said: “In uncertain times, it's always best to find some familiarity, some warming company and a friendly welcome. At Fuller's, we pride ourselves on our personal service, a comforting and relaxed atmosphere and quality food and drink.

“From July 4, all of that will remain. The safety measures we've taken will just go that extra part in making you comfortable and knowing it's where you belong.”
