Join the Big Clean Up at Marcus Garvey Park

Park friends invite local people to sweep and tidy playground

The Friends of Marcus Garvey Park, off North End Road are inviting local people to come along on Saturday July 26 from 3pm to 4pm and help to clean up the playground.

Volunteers will be sweeping, tidying, planting and painting if there is the time and materials. The Friends say please wear some old clothes and bring a yard broom if you have one.

There are also regular community gardening days at the park and everyone is welcome to join in.
