Student Art on Show at Apothecary Gallery

Work by young people at Bridge Academy and Latimer Education Centre

The Apothecary Gallery in Greyhound Road, W6 is currently exhibiting student art work from Fulham's Bridge AP Academy and Kensington's Latimer Education Centre, two pupil referral units offering a fresh start to their education.

The exhibition, which runs through till Monday August 19, is part of the gallery's Art Education Project, which upport young artists in the transition from secondary to higher and further education and has also featured student art work from William Morris Sixth Form College and Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College. You can see more of the students' work here.

The gallery says the exhibitions have worked as a positive platform for students to display their work in a professional environment and build their confidence in relation to their own work and discussing their work with others.

The next series of exhibitions for the Art Education Project 2014 are set to run early next year.
