Arts And Crafts Study Day


Raising funds for the Emery Walker Trust campaign

There are 32 places available at an Arts and Crafts Study Day at the William Morris Society on Friday 7th November. The study day will run from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. with lunch and refreshments provided. The speakers are Helen Elletson, Peyton Skipwith, Alex Werner, Lynne Hulse and Marthe Armitage.

Topics will include the collection at 7 Hammersmith Terrace, the revival of interest in the Arts and Crafts, decorative table glass, May Morris’s embroidery and Arts and Crafts wallpaper.

The Study Day is part of the Emery Walker Trust’s fundraising campaign and is an opportunity to learn more about Emery Walker, William Morris’s consultant and mentor for the Kelmscott Press. The Study Day will take place at the beautiful riverside location of the William Morris Society at 26 Upper Mall, London W6 9TA.

Tickets are available at £55 full price and £25 for students including lunch and refreshments. There will also be the opportunity to have a tour of Emery Walker’s house at 7 Hammersmith Terrace (£12/Students £6).
