Evening of new and exciting dance on Sunday

The Bhavan in Castletown Road, W14 presents JHAM! - Bharatanatyam and Karnatic music by Nina Rajrani Creations on Sunday February 23 from 6pm.

Nina Rajarani Dance Creations presents a showcase built on the firm classical ground of Bharatanatyam and Karnatic music. The title JHAM! is one of the rhythmic syllables used in dance recitation, and also alludes to the idea of a musical jam - a feeling of improvisation and collaboration.

The musicians and dancers will work off one another to produce something new and exciting. Artistic Director and choreographer Nina Rajarani MBE, is joined by dancers of her company, Sooraj Subramaniam, Jahnavi Sheth and Devkee Vadukul in collaboration with a team of talented musicians led by vocalist, Y Yadavan, Music director and composer for the evening.
