Goldhawk Road has fully reopened to traffic on Thursday, 8 March after Thames Water completed its repairs to the road surface.

TfL announced the news this morning on its Twitter feed, @TfLTrafficNews, saying:"Goldhawk Road has re-opened, following the closure due to burst water main."

Completion was scheduled for Sunday 4 March but was delayed as snow prevented the delivery of the tarmac needed for the road surface.

Thames Water described the repairs as "extensive" following the burst pipe on 31 January which caused major flooding.
