Sam’s Larder Opens on Crisp Road

New boutique deli is shop extension of eponymous restaurant

Sam's Larder

A new boutique deli has opened up this month in Hammersmith near the river. Sam’s Larder is right by Sam’s Riverside Restaurant and will be serving Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am to 5pm.

Sam Harrison says, “Fanny & I always wanted to open a shop extension of Sam’s Riverside and now seems the perfect time to do this. Our builders turned our restaurant storage space into a gorgeous little boutique deli which is on Crisp Road, just behind the restaurant.

“Think cheeses from Neal’s Yard, bread, pastries & cakes from the Hedone bakery. British charcuterie from Crown & Queue, chilled Rock Angel rosé and other wines from our curated restaurant wine list, pasta for an easy delicious supper at home and many more little gems. Freshly cut flowers and organic fruit and vegetables round it out to make it the ideal local shop.”

He says the Hedone pastries have been selling out every day since opening plus there is lots of love for the Brindisa gazpacho and the Torre black truffle crisps.

Alongside this, Head Chef Harvey has created some pies for the freezer - Sam’s Fish Pie, Sam’s Chicken & Leek pie and Sam’s Summer Vegetable pie. These will keep changing as the shop evolves.

If you spend £50 with during August you will get 10% off your first shop.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.

We've always done that and won't be changing, in fact we'd like to do more.

However, the readership that these stories generates is often below that needed to cover the cost of producing them. Our financial resources are limited and the local media environment is intensely competitive so there is a constraint on what we can do.
