Transport Disruption Over August Bank Holiday Weekend

Local train services affected by engineering works and planned strikes

If you are planning to travel over the August Bank Holiday weekend the following lines are affected by engineering works. In addition the RMT union is planning industrial action on Sunday and Monday.

Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th, Monday 26th August

No service between Acton Town and Rayners Lane. Replacement buses operate. Use the Metropolitan line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.

Replacement buses: Acton Town - Ealing Common - North Ealling - Hanger Lane, for Park Royal and Central line - Alperton - Sudbury Town - Sudbury Hill - South Harrow - Rayners Lane.

Saturday 24th August

No service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. Please use alternative London Underground or local London Buses services. Piccadilly line trains call additionally at Turnham Green.

Sunday 25th August

No service between Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway.

Summer Bank Holiday Monday 26 August

No service between Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway.

Possible strike action by RMT members may affect services on this route on Sunday 25th and Monday 26th August. You are advised to plan alternative routes and allow extra time for your journey.

Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September

No service between White City and Ealing Broadway / West Ruislip. Replacement buses operate.
