Transport Disruption This Weekend


Local tube and train services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel this weekend, May 17 and 18, the following lines are affected by engineering works.

District

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May

No service between South Kensington and Aldgate East, and between Earl's Court and Wimbledon. Replacement buses operate. This is to enable TfL to replace track at Blackfriars and Parsons Green.

central line

Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May

No service between Gloucester Road and Aldgate (via Victoria). Circle line trains will be revised to operate between Hammersmith and Aldgate, and between Edgware Road and Gloucester Road (via High Street Kensington). This is while TfL replace track at Blackfriars.

Saturday 17 May, after 4pm, and all day Sunday 18 May

No service between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction. Trains are diverted to/from Battersea Park instead. Valid rail tickets will be accepted on Southern services between Battersea Park and Clapham Junction and via local London Buses services via any reasonable route.

Sunday 18 May, no service between Richmond and Willesden Junction. Use the District line between Richmond and Gunnersbury. Replacement buses operate between Gunnersbury and Willesden Junction.

Sunday 18 May

Buses replace trains between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow. Some trains between London Waterloo and Woking will be diverted to call additionally at Richmond and Twickenham.

Saturday 24 to Monday 26 May

Engineering work is taking place between Richmond and Feltham/Strawberry Hill with all lines closed. Buses will run between Richmond and Teddington and also between Richmond and Hounslow. Trains between London Waterloo and Strawberry Hill (via Wimbledon) will start/terminate at Shepperton. Trains between London Waterloo and Kingston (via Twickenham) will run between London Waterloo and Shepperton (via Wimbledon). Trains between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside will be diverted to call additionally at Barnes, Chiswick, Brentford and Hounslow. Trains between London Waterloo and Reading will be diverted to call additionally at Hounslow.

Journey times may be extended by up to 35 minutes.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June

No service between Gloucester Road and Edgware Road (via High Street Kensington).

District

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June

No service between Earl's Court and Edgware Road.

central line

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June

No service between Gloucester Road and Edgware Road (via High Street Kensington).

District

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June

No service between Edgware Road, Earl's Court and Wimbledon. Replacement buses operate between Hammersmith / Earl's Court and Wimbledon.
