Forthcoming Disruption on Public Transport


Tubes and trains services affected by engineering work

During the coronavirus outbreak do not use public transport unless your journey is essential.

Due to the Covid-19 virus, the following service changes will be in place until further notice:

No Circle or Waterloo & City line service,

No Night Tube or Night Overground service,

A reduced service is operating on all London Underground, London Overground, DLR, TfL Rail and London Trams.

Some stations will be closed.  Public transport is only for key workers to travel to and from work.

TfL says this information changes frequently. Check before you travel.


The track closure programme is changing regularly because of the restriction of work sites due to Covid-19, therefore please check

regularly for the latest information.

Unless otherwise indicated, there will be 'no service' between the stations listed below.

London Overground engineering works

Sunday 5 April


Willesden Junction to Richmond,

New Cross Gate to Crystal Palace and West Croydon,

Wandsworth Road to Clapham Junction until 10.15am

Circle line engineering works

Good Friday 10, Saturday 11, Sunday 12 and Easter Monday 13 April

No service

Sunday 19 April

Part of London Waterloo station and the lines between London Waterloo and Barnes will be closed all day Sunday for maintenance work. The remaining lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction which carry trains via Wimbledon will remain open.

All South Western Railway train services will use platforms 7 – 11 at Clapham Junction.

Queenstown Road station will have no service. Please use other stations nearby.

Train services between London Waterloo and Reading will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham, calling at Wimbledon and Kingston.
An hourly train service will run between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside and will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham, calling at all stations via Wimbledon and Kingston.
A shuttle bus service will run between Clapham Junction and Barnes.
An hourly train service will run between Barnes and Windsor & Eton Riverside.
An hourly train service will run between Barnes and Kingston.
Train services will run between Barnes and Woking via Staines.
A circular train service to and from Barnes via Twickenham and Hounslow will run throughout the day.
