District line closed Wednesday morning after fatality at station
A woman has died after been struck by a District line train on Wednesday morning.
The incident which occurred at about 7.30am caused the closure of the District line for much of the morning. The disruption came as many school children were returning after the holidays some of whom were making their first trip to school on the tube.
The dead woman has not yet been formally identified but police say that the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
