Harrods Outlet Store Now Open in Westfield

Replacement for Debenhams offering excess stock from Knightsbridge shop

The new Harrods outlet store in Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush is now open.

It has been specially designed over two floors to support social distancing and promises end-of-season bargains from over 100 brands across fashion, beauty, home and more.

The shop will be selling excess stock from the main Knightsbridge store which has built up while it has been closed for lockdown. It takes over from the Debenhams store which closed prior to lockdown.

Customers will be asked to sanitise their hands prior to using the changing rooms. Any items tried on but not purchased by customers will be quarantined for 48 hours, as per industry guidelines. A limited number of fitting rooms and each will be cleaned between customer use so you may need to wait a little longer than usual. Customers are encouraged to shop alone where possible and may be asked to queue outside of the store during busier periods.

Harrods said, “The concept store has been designed to support higher levels of social distancing by allowing more space for customers, enabling a wider product selection of new-season product in the Knightsbridge store, as well as supporting the business in retailing existing stock in a responsible and sustainable way.”

Harrods was founded in 1849 and is currently owned by a Qatari Sovereign Wealth Fund.
