Established in 2010, Green Girl Productions are a London based company working in film and theatre, producing both new writings and updating classics. A regular at Barons Court, previous successes include The Tempest, The Seagull and their recent critically acclaimed production of As You Like It.

"Chuckle With Chekhov" collects three of Chekhov’s short works in a one act show. Known predominantly for his introspective works The Proposal, The Anniversary and On The Harmful Effects Of Tobacco are three comic pieces that showcase Chekhov’s wittier side. Focusing on the themes of relationships, status and communication, Chekhov satirises on the ties that bind and the farcical way in which meaning can be lost in translation.
