What's On at Barons Court Theatre

New production of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure

MEASURE FOR MEASURE
by William Shakespeare

Something very special: a new production of this unforgettable play.

Vienna is in chaos. The brothels have been left to flourish, and now the Duke has mysteriously left the city, leaving Angelo, his pious deputy, to clean things up. However, when the virtuous Isabella, comes to plead for the life of her brother, a man Angelo has condemned to death, he must make a choice, between justice and desire.

In Shakespeare’s complex tale of power, manipulation and lust, he asks the question "‘How far would you go to save a life?"
