New Food Store and Restaurant Eat17 is Now Open

Offering indoor street market at Assembly on Fulham Palace Road

Eat 17 includes an indoor street food market, yoga classes, a refillable food station with 100 lines and refillable wine, beer and self-serve coffee.

The new store is on Smiths Square Market facing Fulham Palace Road and is the fifth addition to the Eat17 chain, which has stores already in Walthamstow, where the postcode E17 inspired the chain's name - Hackney, Whitstable and Bishop’s Stortford.

Eat17 has its own brand foods including its Bacon Jam - a relish described as "onion jam meets smoky bacon" - and fresh bakery items sharing aisles with everyday SPAR essentials.

It also offers self-serve coffee, wine and beer growlers as well as signature coffee in the bar area and soft serve ice cream.

The dining area has three street food booths serving up fresh dishes from local food kitchens including The Pizza Project, Knowing Meat knowing You and Bun Kabab of Empress Market Pakistani Kitchen.

There is also a 2,000-square foot mezzanine room where yoga classes are available.

Co-founder James Brundle of Eat17 says: “We’re very excited open our new store in Hammersmith as part of Eat17’s plans to expand across London.

"The Hammersmith store is a great addition to our stores and restaurants and it should serve the area well in a prime location on Fulham Palace Road.

"We aim to offer customers the finest quality food and drink – bringing the best from local concessions together with our own-brand ranges.

"We aim to provide an eco-friendly shopping experience and our 100 refillable food lines are very popular with customers who wish to cut down on their plastic use. They can bring their own reusable containers and refill items such as olive oil, detergent, pasta, rice, cereals, nuts and grains."

The Assembly is a development on Fulham Palace Road, just south of Hammersmith Broadway, which includes four office buildings and three landscaped public green spaces. Smith Square, which as we revealed recently will also be home to Pide Oven aims to offer a mixture of shops and restaurants.
