The 2016 H&F Brilliant Business Awards Open for Nominations

Vote for your favourite firm or nominate your own local business

The Hammersmith and Fulham Brilliant Business Awards are back in 2016 with a chance for everyone in the borough to vote for their favourite local firms.

If you’re a customer you can nominate your favourite business in three categories: Best Fulham Business, Best Hammersmith Business and Best Shepherds Bush Business. Each nomination counts as a vote - the businesses that gets the most win.

Closing date for public nominations is Sunday 6 November and everyone who makes a nomination will be automatically entered into a prize draw.

If you’re a business nominate yourself for a Judges’ Prize from the expert panel.

Categories include best customer service, new business, small business, charity, local employer, place to eat or drink and independent retailer. There are also prizes for best creative, technology, health/beauty, design/interiors and arts business.

Closing date for business self-nominations is Friday 21 October.

The winners will be announced at a glitzy awards evening on Thursday 17 November. See here for tickets or sponsorship opportunities.

Visit the awards website for more details and keep up to date with the awards on TwitterFacebook and LinkedIn.

"Thanks to our thriving business community, H&F is the sixth most competitive economy in England,” says Cllr Andrew Jones, Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration.

"These annual awards are one way for us to say thank you and promote our businesses. We’re asking the public to vote for their favourite business and for businesses themselves to enter for one of over a dozen judges’ prizes."

Past winners confirm that the awards add value.

"I’d wholeheartedly encourage all businesses to enter," says Simon Slee, owner of Fastsigns in West Kensington, winner of Best Customer Service last year.

"Not only was winning fantastic publicity but it was really good to have that reassurance from the judges of the great quality of our work and the service we provide."
