Get Your Skates On

Rink opens in Shepherd's Bush

Ice rinks have opened up in Somerset House, Kew Gardens, Marble Arch and South Kensington – now it's Shepherd's Bush's turn to have it's own ice-rink for Christmas.

Shepherd's Bush Green is hosting an outdoor rink on Thursday December 20, Friday 21 and Saturday 22 from 10am to 5pm.

For those who don't fancy the skating there is plenty of other festive fun on offer.

A carousel, ferris wheel teacup ride and food carts selling roasted chestnuts, candy floss and toffee apples will draw the crowds. There will also be a free Super Loo on hand for those caught short.

Everyone over four can come although children under 12 must be with an adult.

Half an hour on the ice and skate hire costs £3.

You cannot bring your own skates.
