Update: Police Say Perry Wilson Now in Custody

Man "considered dangerous" was wanted on recall to prison

Local police say that that 20 year-old Perry Wilson, who was wanted on recall to prison is now in custody.

Following an appeal yesterday for information about the whereabouts of Wilson, who they said was "considered dangerous", Shepherd's Bush police officer Steve Gilbert responded by tweeting @MPSShepBushSgt: " Mr Wilson is now in our custody after being wanted for a little while. #roomwithnoview."

Wilson, was released from prison in April 2014. He was serving a two-year-and-three-month sentence for actual bodily harm, namely assaulting a 40-year-old man in February 2013.

Under the conditions of his prison release licence, Wilson is required to reside at an address in Kew but he had not been seen since 13 June. He was wanted on recall to prison for breaking the conditions of his licence.

Police attempting to trace Wilson believed that he could still be in Kew or the wider Richmond-upon-Thames borough or in Hammersmith and Fulham where he has "strong connections".

Police say Wilson is considered violent and members of public were advised not to approach him.
