Football is Back in the Borough this Weekend

Fulham and QPR both at home while Chelsea go to Wembley for Community Shield

 

The new football season kicks off on Saturday with both Fulham and QPR Football Clubs playing at home.

At Craven Cottage, the Whites begin the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship season against Norwich City on Saturday, 5 August at 3pm.

At Loftus Road, Queen's Park Rangers will also begin the 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship against Reading on Saturday, 5 August at 3pm.

Chelsea FC meanwhile will travel to Wembley Stadium on Sunday 6 August for the FA Community Shield against Arsenal. Kick off is at 2pm. Tickets for this traditipnal curtain raiser have already sold out, but the match will be shown live on ITV 1.

Proceeds from the 2017 FA Community Shield, supported by McDonald’s will be donated to support all those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Find out more here.
