The Kensington Olympia Festival of Music and the Arts. or KOFMA is back this autumn with a new programme of concerts

Here's what's in store in November and December:

9 November 2019: Celebration and Solemnity – The Music of Henry Purcell

7.30pm Apex Room, Olympia London, Hammersmith Road, London W14 8UX

Kensington Olympia Baroque Ensemble and Singers
gather under the direction of Ashley Stafford to present a programme contrasting Purcell’s secular flair and sober intensity.

1 December 2019: A Christmas Journey

5.30PM, Holy Innocents Church, Paddenswick Road, W6 0UB

Aves Cantantes choir are joined by professional singers and instrumentalists for a programme featuring christmas music from around the world and across the ages.

The concert will include a performance of Dylan Thomas’ A Child’s Christmas in Wales, narrated by Festival Director Denis Moriarty.

There will also be an opportunity for the audience to join some carol singing.
