Help Break a Record at Hammersmith Library

Make a pledge on Saturday to join the Summer Reading Challenge

On Saturday July 11, between 10am-4pm Hammersmith Library is taking part in an official attempt to set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD -for the most pledges received for a reading campaign!

The Summer Reading Challenge takes place every year during the summer holidays. You can sign up at the local library, then read six library books of your choice, collecting stickers and other rewards along the way – all FREE.

This year’s theme is Record Breakers! The Summer Reading Challenge has teamed up with Guinness World Records and it’s going to be record-breaking, bringing the worlds of fact and fiction together – take part and see what weird, wonderful and wacky records you will discover.

So help beat the record by going along to the library, in Shepherd's Bush Road, to make a pledge. All ages can make a pledge and this is a free event

This is one of many events to celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge that are being held over the summer holiday period.
