Libraries Host Summer Reading Challenge 2016

With free fun events for children throughout the holidays

The challenge means reading six library books over the summer and children taking part will receive the Big Friendly Read Summer Reading Challenge collector folder, rewards and certificate featuring some of Roald Dahl's best loved characters and the amazing artwork of his principal illustrator Sir Quentin Blake.

The Big Friendly Read is free and open to all children and all libraries will be holding fun free events and activities all summer long.

All children are welcome in the library. However, for their own safety, children under eight must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
