Tie the Knot Free in Fulham Library!

Fee waived for first ceremony to be held in historic venue

To celebrate, H&F Council has agreed to waive the hall hire fee for the first couple to decide to get married or have a civil partnership ceremony there.

Built in 1908, the grade II listed library’s main hall has space for up to 120 guests. Its well maintained features, such as its original wooden book cabinets, provide the perfect backdrop for photographs.

It is located in Fulham Road, is close to Parsons Green tube station and is easily accessible by road.

" We’re delighted to be able to open up Fulham Library’s beautiful hall and offer couples another great venue to choose from," says Cllr Andrew Jones, Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Regeneration.

"The spectacular venue is not just for book lovers. It gives couples the chance to get married in a historic setting in an intimate venue for a reasonable price."

To be eligible to win free hall hire, entrants must be happy to have some photos taken for publicity purposes. The first couple to book Fulham Library as their wedding or civil ceremony venue and enter the competition will win the free hall hire.
