Playday is Back in Ravenscourt Park

Annual free family event set for August 5

A fun-packed day for all the family will be held in Hammersmith & Fulham in celebration of national Playday.

H&F Council has teamed up with Parnham & Son, who will be running a number of fairground rounds for free on August 5.

There will also be sports and games from youth organisations Rolling Base, Shooting Starz and Let Me Play at the event which runs from noon until 4pm in Ravenscourt Park.

Children can enjoy live music, basketball coaching and face painting. The event also includes stalls offering parents information on healthy eating, recycling, libraries and local children’s centres.

Councillor Sue Macmillan, cabinet member for children and education, says:" This is great day out for local families and it’s completely free.

" Come and join in on the fun and help Playday celebrate children’s right to play."
