Deadline for Secondary Admissions is Looming


Parents of children moving up in 2018 must apply for a place by 31 October

Parents in Hammersmith & Fulham with children heading for secondary school in 2018 are being reminded that they must apply for a place by the deadline of 31 October.

Applications for primary school places are also now open, with a longer deadline of 15 January 2108.

Hammersmith & Fulham Council says parents with queries about the process should consults its Hints and tips brochure containing basic information on getting started.

The annual Moving On Up brochure is also available with detailed information.

There is also separate advice for those living in the North and South of the borough.

There is a separate Hints and tips brochure for parents of children starting primary school next year and the annual guide to Starting school.

Parents with email addresses should submit their application online through the e-admissions site.

The e-admissions system is designed to help you by guiding you through the process, ensuring you do not miss anything vital or make any mistakes.

The system is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, meaning you can edit your application and change preferences right up to the closing date. You should have the security of knowing your application is valid and has been accepted as you will receive an auto-receipt and reference number once you submit the completed application.

National offer day for secondary school pupils will be 1 March 2018 and 16 April for primary pupils.
