Missing woman sparks concern

Teaching assistant has not been in touch with loved ones

Relatives of a 29-year-old teaching assistant from Australia who went missing last May are still trying to trace her.

Katrina Woods was last seen leaving her home in Bute Gardens on May 24, 2008.

Police have re-launched the appeal to find the missing woman as relatives of the missing woman are said to be 'desperate ' to find her.

Previous to her disappearance, Katrina kept in touch with family and friends regularly, but no-one has heard from her since May.

Katrina is of medium build, 5ft 7ins in height and has blonde hair and brown eyes.

PC Scott Johnson, from Hammersmith and Fulham's Missing Person unit said:  "We urge Katrina to contact us, as we need to know that she is safe and well.

"Katrina's family and friends are desperate to hear from her and as time progresses, their concerns keep growing.

"Before Katrina was reported as missing, she had been keeping in touch with loved ones via
emails. This regular contact has since ceased."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Hammersmith and Fulham Missing Persons unit on 020
8246 2815.
