Mamma Mia! Stars Mingle with Fans on Hammersmith Broadway

As Apollo hosts premiere of the sequel to the much loved Abba inspired movie

Hammersmith Broadway gained a glamorous Mediterranean glow on Monday, 16 July as the walls were festooned with bougainvillea flowers and the Blue Carpet was unrolled under the flyover for the premiere of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again at the Apollo.

The skies above were equally blue and the stars, reunited after ten years for the sequel to the much loved Mamma Mia! were in sunny moods, mingling happily, signing autographs and posing for selfies with the fans.

Stars at the premiere included Meryl Streep and Colin Firth, pictured above, along with Cher, pictured right and a suntanned Pierce Brosnan.

Other happy faces on the Bue Carpet included Christine Baranski, who reprises her role as Tanya in the new film.

The most eye-catching outfit of the evening, meanwhile was this stunning dress worn by Lily James, who came to the premiere accompanied by boyfriend Matt Smith.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again - complete with a new soundtrack of songs by Abba, including Fernando, Super Trouper, Knowing Me, Knowing You, Dancing Queen, Waterloo and of course Mamma Mia itself - is in cinemas, including local Vues in Shepherd's Bush and Fulham, from Friday 20 July.
