Police in Riot Gear Attend Incident in West Ealing

Responding to man threatening self-harm on Uxbridge Road

A group of police officers wearing riot gear were called to the scene of an incident in West Ealing this Thursday morning (27 September).

They were called at around 11am after a report of a man threatening self-harm.

The officers with shields and protective clothing were seen congregating on Broomfield Road.

They gained entry to the address and the man was detained.

He was taken to hospital for a mental health assessment.

There are no reports of any injuries.
