Take That in Double Launch at hmv Hammersmith Apollo

Group's live DVD previewed on giant new cinema screen

Take That will join 2,000 fans at a unique double launch event at the hmv Hammersmith Apollo on November 18.

The group will introduce a preview screening of their new DVD and at the same time, officially launch the venue's huge new cinema screen.

This will be the first public glimpse of the group's much anticipated double DVD, Take That Present: The Circus Live, the film of their hugely successful 2009 stage show.

The event will also celebrate the return of Apollo's screen facility after a 25 year absence.

The grade II listed building actually began life in 1932 as the Gaumont Palace Cinema. Now the facility has been restored, HMV and its partners say the screen - at 20m x 10m, one of the largest in Europe - will be used regularly in future for film premieres and other events.

HMV chief executive Simon Fox says: "We're absolutely thrilled that Take That will be the very first artists to use the restored cinema screen facility. This very special screening will enable fans to experience the magic of the Circus tour once more. "

Take That fans who visit hmv.com by 8am on November 11 and pre-order either Take That's new album on 2-CD,  The Greatest Day: Take That Present The Circus Live or the accompanying double-live DVD Take That Present: The Circus Live will be automatically entered into a prize draw to become one of 1,000 people winning a pair of tickets to the event.
