Police appeal for witness to fatal Dawes Road accident


Man dies in hospital after collision with blue Peugeot 406

Police are investigating a fatal traffic collision at the junction of North End Road and Dawes Road on 26th September at 11:40.

A Blue Peugeot 406, driven by a 50 year old man, was in a collision with a 49 year old pedestrian who has been identified as Tony Hamill of Lancaster Court, SW6.

Mr Hamill was taken to Charing Cross Hospital where he was pronounced dead the following day.

A post mortem showed cause of death as head injuries.An inquest has been opened and adjourned at Fulham Coroner's Court.
