Man Murdered in Centre of Hammersmith


Two men charged with killing Eduardo Mendoza

Two men have been charged with murder after a 49 year old man was stabbed to death in the centre of Hammersmith.

Police were called to an address at Ashcroft Square, which is near the Lyric Theatre, at around 3.00am on Sunday 17th June. They found Eduardo Mendoza suffering from knife wounds. He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A post mortem revealed the cause of death to be multipe stab wounds

Ricardo Calero aged 49 and Richard Calero aged 19 from Fulham are to appear in custody at West London Magistrates Court.

A 20 year old woman has been bailed to return in July pending further enquiries - and has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act for a period of assessment at a secure psychiatric hospital.
