Footballer Bailed after Arrest over Crecent Club Stabbing

Dudley Campbell, a striker with Leicester City Football Club who is currently on loan to Blackpool, has been released on bail after being arrested in connection with a stabbing in January outside the notorious Crescent Club in North End road.

The 28 year-old footballer was arrested in Blackpool on Thursday and taken to a police station in west London.
The 28-year-old was later released on bail.

"On April 22, a 28-year-old man was arrested in Blackpool in connection with a stabbing at a nightclub on Northend Road, W14," confirmed a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police.

"The incident is alleged to have occurred on January 10. He was taken to a west London police station and later bailed to return pending further inquiries.''
