Weekly event in Lyric Square commended in recent ceremony

The Hammersmith Farmers' Market which takes place on Lyric Square every Thursday has received an Association Of Town Centre Management commendation for enhancing city centre living.

The Farmers' Market has become a major draw to Hammersmith town centre on Thursdays and its 25 stalls carry a range of fresh organic bread, cakes, vegetables, savouries, hot meat pies, game meat, free range pork, beef, lamb, eggs and a variety of lunch times snacks and fresh meals.

The commendation was awarded at the recent London Showcase of Town Centre Management held at the impressive Empress State building, off Lillie road in Fulham earlier this month
