Take a Free Guided Walk on Saturday

Your chance to learn about our much loved bridge

Want to find out more about Hammersmith Bridge?

Join a free guided walk on Saturday, September 3 between 11am and noon and pay homage to Hammersmith's greatest icon - our wonderful iron bridge, blown up by the IRA in 1939 in an event some historians describe as the first hostile act of WWII.

Organisers HammersmithLondon say no booking is necessary - just turn up outside Hammersmith Broadway Tube near the Trout pub. The walk will be led by a Blue Badge Tourist guide.

Teas and coffees will be available after the walk at the Hop Poles.
