Police call for help after smash on Sunday injures five

Traffic officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A4 in Hammersmith on Sunday, May 9.

Police say they were called at approximately 11.50pm   on Sunday evening to reports of a collision on the A4 westbound near Talgarth Road, W14 between a Skoda Octavia and a Volkswagen Golf.

Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and five people were taken to various hospitals.

From the Skoda an 11 year-old girl is described as in a critical condition. A woman and a 6 year-old girl also in the car
suffered non-life threatening injuries. A man suffered minor injuries.

The male driver of the VW suffered minor injuries.

The Metropolitcan Police Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) at Hampton Traffic Garage is carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.

There have been no arrests at this time.
