St Peter's Litter Pickers Are Back in Action on Saturday

All welcome to join the big clean-up at the Cross Keys pub

St Peter's Litter Pickers

After taking a break over winter, St Peter's Litter Pickers are back in action.

On Saturday 7 March, and the first Saturday of every month , the residents of St Peter's Square and surrounding area meet at The Cross Keys pub in Hammersmith's Black lion Lane, and get set cleaning up.

The litter pickers are supported by local councillors, Jonathon Caleb-landy and Asif Siddique, St Peter's Residents' Association, Serco and Hammersmith & Fulham council.

Each month they spend an hour collecting litter from surrounding street, before enjoying free refreshments and kids' drinks at midday,

They say that so far over 200 bags of litter have been cleared, including rubbish from drainpipes, bike wheels and one Pad returned to a grateful student who had had it stolen over a year before, which still had 58% charge left!

All equipment is provided, including gloves, pickup sticks, bags, tabards and sanitisers and everyone is welcome to meet at 11am at the Cross Keys, 57 Black Lion Lane.
