Brook Green Market and Kitchen Hosts Free Winemaking Class

This Saturday's class is first of series run by L'ami Jac

Brook Green Food Market and Kitchen at Addison Primary School is hosting a free class on winemaking from this Saturday, 18 March.

The market's wine importers L'ami Jac are running a series of classes at the market starting this Saturday with a class on how wine is made.  They will take you through a journey from it's origins to the process you use to make wine and you will learn about colour, smell and flavour.

It is a completely free class that will last about 45 minutes and of course you get to try some wine!

L'ami Jac say: " We aim to bring down the iron curtain between wine specialists and wine drinkers. We position ourselves as ambassadors of independent winemakers willing to share their art abroad.

"It is our strongest belief that wine is not a matter of how much you know or how much you spend but rather a matter of how much you are willing to share. Anyone can afford and enjoy wine if they are provided with good advice."

Following this Saturday's class, the next wine events will be:

How to recognise the main grape varieties

How to choose a good wine ? Can we trust the medals on the bottle ?

Spaces are limited so to find out more and book yourself a place email info@brookgreenmarket.co.uk or call 07751 060 921.

With over 25 regular traders, Brook Green Market & Kitchen offers a wide choice of seasonal, locally sourced produce, plus hot and cold prepared food to take away.

The market is open every Saturday from 10am-3pm in Addison Primary School, Bolingbroke Road entrance, W14.
