H&F Historic Buildings Group Holds AGM


Parish Centre Book Green hosts meeting on November 3rd

The AGM of the Hammersith and Fulham Historic Buildings Group will be held at The Parish Centre, Holy Trinity R.C Church, Brook Green, W6 on Wednesday November 3.

Doors open for wine and light refreshments at 7 pm, there will be tours of the church from 7.15 pm and the main meeting starts at 8pm.

The theme for the evening is "Artists in Residence" and the speaker will be the distinguished local artist Ben Johnson, whose riverside studio is on The Mall.

Ben says: " I am happy to follow the long tradition of artists working in Hammersmith and fortunate enough to be bale to see the run rise from my studio over the same stretch of river Turner saw in his day."

The group also welcomes Borough Archivist Jane Kimber, who will be mounting a fascinating exhibition of related material from the Archive.

e Hammersmith & Fulham Historic Buildings Group works to research, promote, preserve and enhance the Borough’s historic environment.

This includes historic buildings and structures of all types, open spaces, parks and gardens, landscape, views, the Thames and the Grand Union Canal.
