Former Latymer Upper School Student Excels

Jasper Hossak wins Exeter scholarship

Jasper Hossak, a former pupil at Latymer Upper School, has been awarded the Jubilee and Millhayes Scholarship at the University of Exeter. The scholarship is awarded to high achieving candidates who choose to study science, geography, mathematics and engineering at Exeter and is worth £3,000 per year. Jasper will be reading for a BSc in Geography.

Peter Winter, Head of Latymer, said: “I am delighted to learn of Jasper’s success. He is a very talented young man and we always knew he would do well. He has excelled in his field and we wish him every success during his time at Exeter.”

Science is an important cornerstone of life at Latymer. A brand new state-of-the-art science and library building has just been opened, with a dedicated floor for each science, and a library for all pupils on the ground floor.
