Win Tickets to See Shortlisted Films at Riverside

Screening of six films made in less than 30 days

Film company Network Releasing has celebrated the release of its new documentary film The Peddler by running a short film competition.

The subject of The Peddler is self-taught film director Daniel Burmeister, who travels round remote Argentinian villages making lurid film dramas - 60 to date - at record speed.

To enter the film, members of the public were asked to follow David's example and submit their films in just 30 days.

The winning six shortlisted candidates will have their films screened on Friday July 15 at Riverside Studios, before a screening of the film itself.

We have a pair of tickets to give away to one lucky member of HammersmithToday.co.uk.

To enter, simply email editor@hammersmithtoday.co.uk by noon on Wednesday, July 13 with the answer to this simple question. In which country does Peddler Daniel Burmeister make his movies?

The shortlisted films are:

Side by Side by Jamie Hooper (London, Wandsworth)
The Bedlamites by Shyla Lee (Keighley, West Yorkshire)
The Big Sleep by Kat Magrowitz (London, Greenwich)
The Reward by Lucy Patrick Ward (London, Ealing)
A Winter’s Mirage by Reza-John Vedadi (London, Maida Vale)
Kyle by Amy Hill (Telford, Shropshire)

The film-makers have all been invited to the Riverside to see their films screened before the winner is announced. The work of the winners and two runners up will be included on the DVD of The Peddler, which will be released in the UK on September 26.

Tickets to this evening are also available online from Riverside Studios.
